EAP Malaysia is the pioneer of the provision of Applied Behavioural Evaluation (ABA) treatment in Malaysia and was founded by Wisconsin Early autism project malaysia Autism Job (WEAP) in September 2006. For all therapists, a preliminary training including 20 hours of courses and 3 weeks on hand-held training is needed before beginning collaborate with a kid with autism after which normal fortnightly otherwise weekly supervision is offered with normal overlaps and team conferences.
In addition, WEAP's released research study in the American Journal of Dementia (November 2005 concern) followed Dr. Ivar Lovaas' research study in 1987 and 1993 wherein 48% of the kids who took part in the intensive behavioural therapy were able to catch up and get involved effectively in typical school.
Each youngster at EAP is assigned a group of therapists who are overseen by a Supervisor on a fortnightly basis and a Senior Manager on a bimonthly basis along with the WEAP Progress Reviews two times a year. EAP remains to keep first-rate high quality ABA treatment as we continue to have our moms and dad company WEAP manage our youngsters twice a year.
